Research Synopsis

My PhD revolves around the development of novel means to characterize interactions between metabolites, nucleic acids and proteins at ultrahigh-throughput. To achieve this, I combine a recombinase-based DNA recorder with next-​generation sequencing (uASPIre) in Escherichia coli. The motivation behind this line of research is to improve our capabilites in the engineering of microbes for sustainable bioproduction of value-added chemicals.
